One-on-One Personal Training

Our personal training services are for men and women of all ages and fitness levels. We will design you a personalized exercise program tailored to meet your own unique health and fitness goals. If you are unsure of your goals, we can help you set them and get you started on a program that is right for you.

Working with a Forward Fitness trainer removes all the guesswork from your program. All you need to do is show up for your appointment with your workout gear, and your Forward Fitness trainer will coach you through a time-efficient workout that will produce maximum results. Your trainer will continue to adapt your program as you improve, and continuously consult with you regarding your likes, dislikes, and level of satisfaction regarding your training sessions.

Partner Personal Training

You may prefer to train with a partner (spouse, friend, co-worker, etc). Partner personal training is very popular because, besides being less expensive (per person) than one-on-one personal training, exericsing with a partner is fun and may provide you with an additional source of motivation.

Partner programs meet the objectives of both you and your partner, specifically addressing each individual's unique needs and goals. Like one-on-one personal training, your trainer will continue to adapt the program as you and your partner improve, and continuously consult with you both regarding your likes, dislikes, and level of satisfaction regarding your training sessions.

About Our Rates

One of the benefits of training with Forward Fitness is that we offer one convenient low rate for personal training regardless of whether you train with us once, twice, or three times per week. Most personal trainers in Vancouver have complicated rates structures that force clients to pay a premium for personal training unless they train several times per week and pre-purchase a large package of sessions up front. With Forward Fitness, you can pay the same low rate regardless of how often you train with us.

Garfield Wilson established Forward Fitness Inc. in 2004 after a successful singing and acting career in Vancouver. Garfield easily adapts between a wide diversity of clients, and his training style focusses on establishing clear goals, while making each training session unique and enjoyable (but not without some hard work). His determination and fitness knowledge have garnered him the winning slot as the WBFF Male Fitness Model in 2009, including a sponsorship agreement with EAS, as well as winning years with the FAME organization as a Pro Male Fitness model for three years running. With this ongoing success he inspires his clients to attain any goal, be it strength, agility, or simply a more balanced life. Garfield specializes in interval training, strength and conditioning, and core stability, and is passionate about fitness and all the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle.
